Wiktor Nowak Transfer from Górnik Zabrze to Wisła Płock

The President of Wisła Płock, Piotr Sadczuk, in an interview with 'Przegląd Sportowy Onet', stated he would like to keep 21-year-old Wiktor Nowak for longer. President Sadczuk also stated that since his summer move, Nowak has become a very important player for Wisła, which is why the club will try to keep the talented player. His contract with the Zabrze team runs until June 30, 2028.

The sports director of Polonia Bytom, Tomasz Stefankiewicz, informed 'Przegląd Sportowy Onet' that the club failed in their efforts to bring in Wiktor Nowak, who was loaned from Górnik Zabrze to Wisła Płock. According to Stefankiewicz, Wisła Płock convinced the player with the possibility of playing in the Ekstraklasa. He added that Polonia Bytom were able to meet the contract expectations, but Wisła Płock turned out to be more attractive to the player.

Wiktor Nowak was loaned to Wisła Płock by Górnik Zabrze to aid his development, as he had not managed to convince Michal Gasparík for a full-time position. Although Nowak was one of the standout players in the first league last season, his potential move to Raków Częstochowa did not materialize because the club was not interested in nurturing a young player. Górnik Zabrze took advantage of the situation and signed him from Znicza Pruszków, subsequently deciding to loan him to Wisła Płock. Under Mariusz Misiura's guidance, Nowak has been performing well and recently scored his first goal in the top division against Raków Częstochowa. This achievement has made a strong impression, potentially catching the attention of Polish national team coach Jan Urban. If Nowak continues in this vein, he might find himself in consideration for a national team call-up, possibly making his debut for Poland before securing a starting position at Górnik Zabrze.
