Weston McKennie Transfer from Juventus to Roma
Juventus is reportedly considering a swap deal with Roma that would involve players Weston McKennie and Bryan Cristante. McKennie's contract with Juventus is scheduled to expire in June 2026, and the club is eager to avoid losing him without a transfer fee. As a result, they are exploring a potential swap with Roma. The consideration of this deal is influenced by McKennie's shared Texan roots with the Friedkin family, who own Roma. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus has proposed this swap as part of their latest market strategy. The proposed deal would see McKennie moving to the Giallorossi while Cristante would join the Bianconeri. Juventus's director general, Damien Comolli, is reportedly seeking creative solutions to strengthen the midfield, in line with coach Igor Tudor's requests. Despite McKennie being younger than Cristante, Juventus values Cristante's character traits. With McKennie's contract having less than a year remaining, Juventus is eager to finalize a transaction to prevent losing him on a free transfer next summer.
