Weslley Patati Transfer from Maccabi Tel Aviv to AZ

Telegraaf.nl has reported on AZ's record-breaking transfer of Patati from Maccabi Tel Aviv, noting that AZ has agreed to pay 7.2 million euros for the winger. This transfer is highlighted as the largest incoming transfer ever for the club. Patati, who boasts impressive statistics in Israel, remained in Backa Topola, Serbia, after Maccabi Tel Aviv's European match to complete a medical examination. AZ had been interested in the former Santos youth player for a long time, but initially, his arrival seemed unlikely due to Maccabi Tel Aviv's 10 million euro asking price. However, Maccabi Tel Aviv eventually consented to the sale, including a 20% future resale percentage in the deal. Patati is expected to travel to Alkmaar on August 29 to finalize his transfer and sign a five-year contract, following his participation in Europa League play-off matches against Dinamo Kiev.

Weslley Patati is set to transfer from Maccabi Tel Aviv to AZ. Israeli media report an agreement where AZ will pay a transfer fee of at least seven million euros for the winger. Due to the impending deal, Patati will not return to Israel after the home match in the Europa League against Hamrun Spartans in Serbia, but will head towards Alkmaar to finalize the deal.

AZ has made a second bid for Weslley Patati to Maccabi Tel Aviv, following the departure of Ernest Poku to Bayer Leverkusen. According to Israeli media, the bid is around five million euros. Patati had a strong first season with Maccabi Tel Aviv and gained significant European experience. He is currently participating in the Europa League qualifiers with Maccabi.

The Daily Record highlights the interest of Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar and Rangers in Weslley Patati. Weslley Patati is also on the radar of Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar along with Rangers. His club values him at £8.6 million. The player's representatives are upset about the terms of a new contract proposed to him, as he is among the lowest earners on the team despite being valued highly.

AZ and UAE clubs have submitted offers up to the value of €4m (£3.5m) for Weslley Patati, but Maccabi Tel Aviv is not entertaining these offers and wants €10m (£8.6m) before considering selling him. Eyal Berkovic warned that the club would have to lower their price tag or face a rebellion from Patati. Berkovic mentioned that no team would pay ten million euros, and Patati would be unhappy if he didn't move.

AZ Alkmaar is interested in signing Weslley Patati and has submitted an offer up to the value of €4m. However, Maccabi Tel Aviv is not entertaining offers below €10m due to the fact that his former club Santos holds 40% of his rights. Patati, a standout performer last season with 13 goals and 10 assists, is also attracting interest from clubs in the UAE and Spain, as well as unnamed teams in the Premier League and Championship. Maccabi Tel Aviv values Patati highly, especially with the possibility of losing their other striker, Dor Turgeman, in the same transfer window.
