Wes Harding Transfer from Millwall to Plymouth Argyle
Plymouth Argyle are pursuing a loan deal for Millwall defender Wes Harding before the transfer deadline on Monday night. Reports had previously stated that several Championship and Scottish Premiership clubs were interested in the 29-year-old Jamaican international, and Plymouth have now been identified as one of his admirers. Manager Tom Cleverley has indicated that two additions described as high-quality are expected, with medicals being planned. It is understood that Harding is permitted to depart Millwall, where he is considered less of a priority for selection, having made 8 appearances in the Championship this season. The defender has 3 caps for his country and joined the club in July 2023. His current market value is €900k, according to Transfermarkt. With his contract expiring in the summer, a successful loan could result in a permanent stay, though a deal could be complicated if a more appealing offer is made to the player or his club.
