Globo.com reports that Wanderson became a player available for transfer in the mid-year transfer window, but the market was limited since he had exceeded the limit of matches to play for another Série A team. It is expected that Wanderson will be on the market for next season.

According to Globo.com, Wanderson was among the players who could have left Cruzeiro during the transfer window, but the club was unable to negotiate his departure.

According to Globo.com, Wanderson, who was a starter under Leonardo Jardim, is no longer in Cruzeiro's plans. Wanderson has been training with the team but has not been called up, and Chico da Costa has also not been called up. Cruzeiro hopes to negotiate both players during the transfer window, which closes on September 11.

Globo.com reports that Wanderson was involved in Cruzeiro's recent match amidst ongoing transfer negotiations. Coach Artur Jorge used more than 20 players, including athletes whom Cruzeiro is trying to negotiate, such as Wanderson. The player entered in the second half, missed an opportunity, and was later substituted.
