Globo.com reports that 31-year-old Brazilian-Belgian attacker Wanderson is one of the names being considered for a potential loan transfer from Cruzeiro to Sport until the end of the year. This consideration is part of a larger negotiation between the two clubs. The loan operation was discussed on a Friday when Sport's president, Matheus Souto Maior, and CEO, Felipe Ximenes, met with Cruzeiro to finalize the transfer of Zé Lucas in the other direction. Other players, including attacker Chico da Costa and midfielder Murilo Rikhman, are also being evaluated for loans. Under the terms being discussed, Cruzeiro would pay the salaries of the loaned players until the conclusion of the Série B season. Wanderson joined Cruzeiro in February 2025 and has a contract that runs until the end of 2027. In the 2025/2026 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, he has made 15 appearances and scored one goal. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €3.00m.
