The club from Morumbi also proposed the names of forward Savarino and midfielder Marlon Freitas after Botafogo formalized offers for defender Nahuel Ferraresi and midfielder Pablo Maia. According to ESPN, both clubs view the potential deal as complex and the operation is still in its early stages, far from being concluded. A meeting is scheduled for the upcoming Wednesday for the clubs to discuss the matter, as São Paulo assesses whether a deal could involve a player exchange or a cash transaction. Vitinho, who has been capped twice by Brazil, joined Botafogo in August 2024 and has a contract running until the end of 2029, with a current market value of €8.00m according to Transfermarkt.
