Virgil Misidjan Transfer from Ferencváros to NEC
Virgil Misidjan has signed a contract with NEC until mid-2026, with an option for an additional year. NEC's Director of Player Affairs, Carlos Aalbers, stated that Misidjan has been an interesting player for NEC for a long time and they have been in contact since his previous period in the Netherlands. Misidjan provides NEC with extra attacking options with his dribbles and creativity.
Virgil Misidjan is set to join NEC on a free transfer following the buyout of his contract with Ferencvaros. Having already completed his medical examination in Nijmegen, he is anticipated to sign the contract soon. The length of the contract remains undisclosed. Misidjan, who has represented Suriname nine times internationally, has an extensive Eredivisie experience with 107 appearances for Willem ll, PEC Zwolle, and FC Twente, during which he scored nineteen goals and provided thirteen assists. The news was reported by De Telegraaf. At 31, Misidjan became a free agent after his contract with the Hungarian top club was terminated, giving him the liberty to select his next club.
