Bologna from Italy and Lille from France have inquired about the conditions for a transfer of the Brazilian 21-year-old Grêmio centre-back, Viery. The player is also on Benfica's list of potential targets for next season. According to a report from globoesporte, Brighton and Newcastle are also interested in Viery. Grêmio is willing to negotiate the player's departure but expects a sale price of approximately €20 million. Viery joined Grêmio in February 2025, and his contract, which runs until the end of 2029, reportedly includes a release clause of approximately €50 million for foreign clubs, effective from March 2026.
