According to Russian media, Red Star Belgrade coach Stanković has expressed a desire to bring Vanja Drkušić from Zenit. He allegedly conveyed this to the Red Star management, who were not very enthusiastic about the proposal due to Drkušić's previous stint at the club being marked as inconsistent. It is considered unlikely that the coach's wish will be fulfilled.

Vanja Drkušić returned to Zenit St. Petersburg from a loan at Crvena Zvezda. Crvena Zvezda wanted to keep the player, but Zenit exercised their right to bring him back during the winter transfer window. Drkušić will now be a full member of Zenit and will prepare for the second part of the season.

Zenit will loan Vanja Drkušić to Crvena zvezda with an option to buy. Zenit will fully cover his salary during the loan period.
