Spanish central midfielder Unai Vencedor, 25, is not part of the plans of new Athletic coach Edin Terzic and is training at the club's facilities while waiting to move to a new club. The player's contract expires in June 2027, and his preference is to play for a Primera club. Vencedor has received interest from teams in Greece and the Netherlands but has rejected offers from abroad as he wishes to stay in the Spanish league. AS reports that several Segunda División clubs have targeted him, among them Real Oviedo, who are managed by Julián Calero. Vencedor previously played regularly under Calero during a loan spell at Levante. He joined Athletic Bilbao in August 2020 and has been capped 8 times for the Spain U21 team.
