According to Fanatik, Fenerbahçe has initiated contact with Alanyaspor for Ümit Akdağ. Fenerbahçe proposed an agreement to be made now, with Ümit Akdağ remaining at Alanyaspor until the season's end. The club has requested 15 million Euro for both Maestro and Ümit Akdağ, and an agreement has not yet been reached. Negotiations between the clubs are set to continue in the upcoming days.

Fenerbahçe has made Alanyaspor's 22-year-old Romanian-Turkish central defender, Ümit Akdağ, a transfer target. Ertan Torunoğulları and Ömer Topbaş are expected to be in Alanya this evening for a meeting between officials from the two clubs to discuss the player's transfer. Akdağ joined Alanyaspor in July 2022 and has a contract with the club until June 2028. He has also been linked with Trabzonspor and Galatasaray. For the 2025/2026 season in the Süper Lig, he has 16 appearances, 1 goal, and 1 assist. He has been capped 10 times for the Romania U21 team, scoring two goals. Reports from January 2026 indicated that Trabzonspor made a €4 million offer for the player, while Alanyaspor's asking price was reportedly €6 million at that time.
