According to Fanatik, Süper Lig club Kocaelispor has officially signed Uğur Kaan Yıldız. The club is aiming for a top-five finish in the upcoming season, and the player is a 23-year-old Turkish right-back. Yıldız's last club was Göztepe, where his contract was due to expire at the end of the month. Kocaelispor confirmed in an official statement that they have agreed to a 2+1 year contract with Yıldız, which will become effective on July 1, 2026. He joined Göztepe in July 2022 and has been capped 13 times for the Türkiye U21 national team. In the 2025/2026 season, Yıldız made 9 appearances in the Süper Lig.
