Telegraaf.nl has reported on the loan transfer of Tygo Land to FC Groningen for the season. The talented 19-year-old Dutch midfielder, originally acquired by PSV from SC Heerenveen as a promising youth international three years ago, decided on a loan move due to the intense competition at PSV. Although PEC Zwolle expressed interest in loaning Tygo Land for the season, FC Groningen was ultimately selected as the club for his loan. Having made 11 appearances for PSV's first team and played 48 matches for Jong PSV, during which he scored five goals and provided nine assists, Land is considered a valuable addition to FC Groningen. His contract with PSV is valid until mid-2029, and he becomes the seventh new signing for FC Groningen this transfer window, joining players like Oskar Zawada and Younes Taha. Besides the interest from PEC Zwolle, FC Volendam had also been connected with the player, whose market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.00m.
