Telegraaf.nl reported on the loan transfer of Tygo Land to FC Groningen for the season. Due to high competition at PSV, it was noted that Land wanted to gain experience in the Eredivisie on a loan basis. Although PEC Zwolle also showed interest, FC Groningen was the choice for the 19-year-old Dutch midfielder. Land has participated in 11 matches with PSV's main team and 48 matches with Jong PSV, scoring five goals and providing nine assists. His contract with PSV extends until mid-2029, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €2.00m. Land becomes FC Groningen's seventh signing of the transfer window, joining new teammates Oskar Zawada, Tyrique Mercera, Lovro Stubljar, Elvis van der Laan, Younes Taha, and Dies Janse.
