Tonio Teklić, a 26-year-old Croatian attacking midfielder, is close to joining Osijek on loan from Polish side Widzew Łódź. After limited playing time in Poland, where he has made 8 appearances in the 2025/2026 Ekstraklasa season, Tonio is expected to reunite with coach Željko Sopić, who sees him as part of Osijek’s plan to stay in the HNL. Teklić joined Widzew Łódź in July 2025 and has a contract with the club until June 30, 2029. He has one cap for the Croatia U20 team and a current Transfermarkt market value of €600k.
