Tommaso Berti, a 22-year-old Italian attacking midfielder from Cesena, is reportedly close to moving to Cremonese, which appears to have surpassed Padova in the pursuit of the player. Sky Sport reports that an agreement has been reached between Cremonese and Cesena for a transfer fee of 2.8 million euros. Previously, when Padova had shown interest, Cesena's asking price was 4 million euros, a sum that Padova considered too high. Berti, who joined Cesena in July 2021, has a contract until 2028 and a current market value of €5.50m, according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 Serie B season, he made 38 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing 8 assists. He has not yet been capped for the Italian national team.
