Fabio Brutti stated that Cremonese made the only concrete offer for Trimboli. He described that this offer arrived in the summer and that Mantova refused it immediately because they did not consider it adequate.

Tuttomercato reports that Simone Trimboli's contract extension with Mantova runs until 2029 and includes an increased salary. Cremonese had shown interest in the player, but no agreement was reached with Mantova or Trimboli.

According to Tuttomercato, Cremonese has made progress in the last few hours regarding Simone Trimboli, which has complicated the situation. Mantova has not received a concrete offer but continues to be watchful.

According to Nicolo Schira, Cremonese is pursuing 24-year-old Italian midfielder Simone Trimboli from Mantova and is actively trying to sign him. However, Mantova is unwilling for him to leave and has offered a contract renewal until 2029, which Trimboli has not yet accepted. The midfielder, who joined Mantova in July 2023, has a current contract until 2027 and a Transfermarkt market value of €2.00m. Other clubs, including Palermo and Sampdoria, have also been linked with him.
