Michał Siara, a member of Górnik Zabrze's management board, stated during an interview on the Meczyki.pl channel that he considers Tomasz Loska to be one of the two most important transfers this season. Górnik possessed an option to automatically extend the contract by one year, a decision that was considered obvious. Michał Siara also expressed a hope for Tomasz Loska to remain with Górnik Zabrze for a longer period, irrespective of whether he keeps playing or is involved with the club in a different capacity, for as long as he is able.

Górnik Zabrze announced the extension of Tomasz Loska's contract. The new agreement will keep the Polish goalkeeper at the club until the end of the 2027/2028 season. Tomasz Loska is a goalkeeper who has played in only four matches this season but has become an integral part of Michal Gašparík's team. The club appreciated the maturity and attitude of the 30-year-old player, who is a former Poland U21 international. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €250k.
