Liverpool are planning to make an offer for Boca Juniors' Argentinian playmaker Tomás Aranda in January. The club is planning an early move for the 19-year-old, who is currently injured, in order to anticipate interest from other major clubs. Aranda is a right-footed central attacking midfielder who can also play on the left flank. It is said that Liverpool are closely monitoring both his performances and his situation. He is reportedly available for a fee of €9m (£8m). The player, who has one cap for Argentina, joined Boca Juniors in January 2026. In the 2025/2026 domestic league season, he made 23 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists. Chelsea and Strasbourg have also been recently linked with Aranda.
