Ipswich Town have made an approach to sign Fulham captain Tom Cairney. The interest from Ipswich was first reported by Sky Sports News. The 34-year-old Scottish international is in the final six months of his contract with the Premier League side. It is not known if Fulham, where he has played since July 2015, will be open to letting him leave. Wrexham were also reportedly interested in Cairney during the summer, but a move did not happen. The midfielder has featured 13 times for his current club this season, starting in three of those matches. He has two caps for Scotland and his current Transfermarkt market value is €750k.
