Tolu Arokodare Transfer from Genk to Manchester United
Tolu Arokodare has caught the attention of Manchester United after impressing their scouts. The 24-year-old Nigerian striker finished the 2024-25 season as the top goalscorer in the Jupiler Pro League, with 17 goals in the Belgian top flight and 23 in all competitions. He is considered a low-cost, high-potential forward, with a market value of around £20million (€23m / $27m), and his wage demands are not expected to be high, making him an appealing option for United's forward line improvement. Manchester United's head of recruitment, Christopher Vivell, and director of football, Jason Wilcox, are said to appreciate his ability and potential. Manager Ruben Amorim is reportedly looking at Arokodare as a viable candidate to replace Rasmus Hojlund, due to his impressive performances and goal-scoring capabilities. Although Arokodare is seen as a backup target behind Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike, his profile as a promising and cost-effective forward fits well with United's strategic goals to enhance their attacking options.
