A verbal agreement has been reached between River Plate, Estudiantes de Río Cuarto, and midfielder Tobías Leiva. Leiva will be loaned to Estudiantes de Río Cuarto for the 2026 season. The midfielder played at Aldosivi last season and will not be considered by Marcelo Gallardo. Estudiantes de Río Cuarto is newly promoted to the First Division.
