The Saudi Arabian club Al Shabab has made significant progress in its attempt to sign 30-year-old Croatian defender Tin Jedvaj, having submitted the case file to the transfer program's Financial Control Committee. The transfer of the defender, who has a contract with Panathinaikos until the summer of 2027, is expected to be officially finalized soon if it receives final approval. Jedvaj is reportedly considered a key option for Al Shabab's new competitive plan and is intended to fill the defensive position left by Dutchman Wesley Hoedt. Jedvaj joined Panathinaikos in July 2024 and has 26 caps and 2 goals for Croatia. His current market value is €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
