Timotej Jambor Transfer from Rapid Bucuresti to UTA Arad
Rapid attempted to sell 23-year-old Timotej Jambor to recover some of the 1,000,000 euros spent on his transfer from MŠK Žilina in July 2024. The club was willing to sell the Slovakian striker permanently, not on loan, for a fee of 100,000 euros. Jambor was offered to SuperLiga teams UTA Arad and FC Botoșani, but both clubs refused the proposal despite the low price. The forward, who has 15 caps and 4 goals for Slovakia's U21 team, is under contract until June 2028 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €350,000. Earlier in 2026, a loan to Śląsk Wrocław included a purchase option reported to be over €460,000, which the Polish club officially decided not to activate in May.
