Rapid tried to arrange a permanent sale for Timotej Jambor, 23, on whom the club had previously spent €1,000,000. The club offered the Slovakian forward to FC Botoșani and to UTA Arad, another SuperLiga România side. Although the proposed transfer fee was €100,000, both teams rejected the offer. Jambor, who has 15 caps and 4 goals for Slovakia's U21 team, has a contract with Rapid until June 30, 2028, and his current Transfermarkt valuation is €350K. Earlier in 2026, the player was on loan at Śląsk Wrocław, which had a purchase option reported to be over €460,000, but the club officially decided against activating it in May 2026.
