Timo Werner Transfer from RB Leipzig to Leeds United

Bild reports on Timo Werner's decision to reject offers from multiple clubs to stay at RB Leipzig. Timo Werner rejected offers from New York Red Bulls, as well as other clubs in France, Italy, and England. He feels comfortable at RB Leipzig and is hoping for more playtime there. His contract ends next summer, allowing for a potential free transfer then.

Team Talk reports on Leeds United's enquiry to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. Leeds United have made an enquiry to sign Timo Werner, who is out of favour at RB Leipzig and is unresponsive to Leeds' interest. Werner is out of contract at the end of the season, and RB Leipzig is ready to sell him now. However, Werner has turned down the chance to join Leeds.

Leeds United has expressed interest in signing 29-year-old German forward Timo Werner. Nevertheless, Werner appears to prefer seeing out his lucrative contract with RB Leipzig, which reportedly earns him up to ten million euros annually. RB Leipzig is reportedly keen to offload Werner from their payroll a year before his contract expires. Despite interest from clubs across France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the MLS, and specifically from Premier League clubs FC Burnley and Leeds United, Werner seems inclined to remain at Leipzig. This scenario poses a risk for RB Leipzig, as they may have to retain Werner along with other high-cost players they are looking to offload. The player's market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt at €7.00 million.
