German forward Thomas Müller, 35, is on the verge of signing a contract with Vancouver Whitecaps that will last until the end of 2026, with an anticipated salary of approximately 6.6 million Euros. While the official announcement has yet to be made, Müller has reportedly agreed to join the club where Alphonso Davies previously played. Despite being pursued by other US clubs such as Los Angeles FC, Chicago Fire, San Diego FC, and FC Cincinnati, Müller has opted for Vancouver Whitecaps. In the meantime, he is maintaining his fitness in Germany, training alongside his former Bayern Munich teammates under the guidance of coach Vincent Kompany, as he awaits the completion of his transfer to the MLS team. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €6.00 million.
