In an interview with Brazilian journalist and YouTuber Cartolouco, Panathinaikos' 25-year-old Brazilian winger Tetê revealed that he had received offers from Flamengo, Fluminense, Botafogo, and Cruzeiro during the transfer window. Most of the interested teams reportedly wanted a loan with an option to buy, but Panathinaikos was only prepared to sell for a 'crazy' offer, as the player is under contract until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €11 million. Tetê, who expressed a desire to one day return to play professionally in his home country, ultimately decided to stay in Europe, stating he is happy there. Following his remarks, Brazilian media have suggested Cruzeiro might try again in January.
