According to Globo.com, Luiz Henrique from Zenit is a target for Flamengo. The president of Flamengo, Bap, stated that negotiations would not be simple and would be very expensive. Luiz Henrique expects proposals from European football following his participation in the World Cup with the Brazilian national team. Bap also stated that Luiz Henrique has been a target for Flamengo for two years.

Flamengo may make an official transfer offer for the player following the 2026 World Cup. Zenit's expected asking price is €40-50 million. However, Zenit is considering asking for €70 million, contingent on Enrique's performance at the World Cup. Should this occur, negotiations with the Brazilian club will become impossible.

According to Globo.com, Luiz Henrique, formerly of Botafogo and currently at Zenit, is a player Flamengo is interested in, but the price demanded by the Russian club is deterring Flamengo from negotiations.
