Elche and Rayo Vallecano are both attempting to sign 29-year-old Spanish winger Tete Morente from Lecce. Having concluded its incoming transfer business, Lecce is now considering whether to allow an offensive player to leave with a few hours remaining in the winter transfer window. A decision from the club is expected shortly. Morente's contract with the Italian club is valid until June 30, 2027. During the current Serie A season, Morente has made 16 appearances and has provided one assist. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.80m. In February 2025, it was reported that Lecce rejected a €4 million offer for the player.
