Sampdoria is considering Terrence Douglas, a 2001-born Dutch left-back of Surinamese origin. The player is a free agent after his time with Eindhoven in the Dutch second division, where he played for the last two seasons. Douglas, who developed in the Ajax youth academy and also has experience with Den Bosch and Roda, is being evaluated by sporting director Americo Branco as another potential signing at no cost to reinforce the defense. He could become the club's third new acquisition, following the recent acquisition of defender Stefan Gartenmann. Douglas has five caps for the Netherlands U18 team and a current Transfermarkt market value of €325k.
