Taras Mykhavko Transfer from Dynamo Kyiv to Aston Villa

1h ago

Aston Villa have conducted checks on Dynamo Kyiv's Ukrainian defender Taras Mykhavko, who is considered one of Ukraine’s most promising defensive talents. Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Bournemouth have also made checks on the 20-year-old. Sources have indicated that Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in signing Mykhavko in the summer, and that the strongest interest in the player currently originates from the Premier League. Tottenham Hotspur have also discussed him as a potential long-term target, while clubs in Spain, Italy, and Germany are monitoring his situation, even though he signed a new long-term contract with Kyiv in January. Mykhavko, who joined Dynamo Kyiv in January 2024, has one cap for Ukraine and has made 17 appearances and scored two goals in the Premier Liga this season. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value to be €8.00m. It was reported in August 2025 that Dynamo Kyiv rejected a €15 million offer from Marseille and made a counter-demand of €25 million.
