Famalicão are nearing an agreement to sign 21-year-old Hungarian central midfielder Tamás Szűcs from Debrecen, and a medical could be scheduled for early next week. Szűcs, who joined his current club in January 2025, has a contract that runs until 2029 and has earned 4 caps for Hungary. In the 2025/2026 domestic league season, he registered 3 goals and 4 assists in 31 appearances. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €1.50m. Pogoń Szczecin have also been reported to have an interest in the player.
