Szymon Łyczko is leaving Stal Rzeszów as his expiring contract is not being extended. The sporting director of Śląsk Wrocław, Rafał Grodzicki, confirmed both interest and ongoing talks with Szymon Łyczko about a potential collaboration. In an interview with TVP Sport, Grodzicki stated that they are in talks and noted this had become public some time ago. He thinks they are neither closer to nor further from an agreement and that they will see how the situation develops. Grodzicki also thinks that many topics will progress more quickly after the previous day's match.

Rafał Grodzicki, the sports director of Śląsk Wrocław, confirmed on TVP Sport that the newly promoted Ekstraklasa team is considering recruiting Szymon Łyczka from Stal Rzeszów.
