The 26-year-old is expected to leave this summer due to a contract guarantee and told the Noordhollands Dagblad that he is aiming for a move abroad. Mijnans has also been linked to clubs in Italy and England, with reports from March and April 2026 citing asking prices ranging from €10-15 million to as high as €30 million.
