Raków Częstochowa has reportedly received an offer from Samsunspor for their central defender Stratos Svarnas, as reported by Lorenzo Lepore. Samsunspor is said to be interested in acquiring Svarnas and has made an offer of 700,000 euros. Nonetheless, Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl pointed out that Raków is expecting a higher fee for the player, even though there is a possibility of his departure during the summer transfer window. Originally, Svarnas joined Raków on loan from AEK Athens in 2022 and was subsequently purchased for approximately 800,000 euros. He is currently under contract until mid-2027. As a six-time international for Greece, Svarnas has played 98 matches for Raków, including 29 in the last season, and contributed to the team's near title success, finishing just one point behind the champions, Lech Poznań. Samsunspor, having finished third in the Turkish league, is looking to bolster their squad in preparation for their upcoming Europa League qualification campaign.
