Frosinone and Cagliari have shown interest in Stiven Shpendi, a 23-year-old Albanian forward who plays for Empoli. Padova has reached a transfer agreement with Empoli for Shpendi. The offer from Padova is for more than €3.5 million, a figure Empoli is willing to accept. Despite the agreement between the clubs, Shpendi is reportedly delaying his decision and is waiting for an offer from a Serie A team. Shpendi has scored five goals in 14 appearances for the Albania U21 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.8 million. Empoli signed him from Cesena in July 2025 for a reported fee of €2.2 million.
