Middlesbrough are reportedly one of several Championship clubs interested in signing Liverpool's 21-year-old Spanish midfielder Stefan Bajčetić on loan for the upcoming season. The player is expected to be made available for a move to the second tier, with Preston North End also interested in a deal, while Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers are named as the other interested parties. Bajčetić, who joined Liverpool in July 2022, has a contract with the club until June 2027 and has been capped five times by Spain at U21 level. He did not make any appearances in the 2025/2026 Premier League season. His current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €4.00m.
