Rayo and Elche have made inquiries about a potential loan for Sporting CP's 23-year-old Senegalese winger Souleymane Faye, while Mallorca had also shown interest in the player in recent months. Faye joined Sporting in January 2026 from Granada for a reported €6.5 million. During the 2025/2026 season, he made 19 appearances in LaLiga2, contributing two goals and six assists, before making five appearances in Liga Portugal.
