Souleymane Basse has left FC Valenciennes to join Pau FC. He has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the French Ligue 2 team and is contracted with them until June 30, 2028.

Following a dispute last summer that resulted in his suspension, Valenciennes is encouraging the Senegalese defender Souleymane Basse to leave. The club hopes to make a capital gain by profiting from his market value.
