Fulham's interest in Stoke City's 27-year-old Welsh international winger Sorba Thomas will cause Dougie King to be on high alert. Fulham faces competition from Sunderland and newly-promoted Coventry City. It is reported that Coventry are in the leading position to sign the player. The Premier League newcomers have the most serious interest and would have to pay approximately €25m (£22m) to sign Thomas. Thomas, who has 25 caps for Wales, joined Stoke City in July 2025 and his current contract runs until June 2028. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €10.00m. An older report from April 2025 mentioned a €4m purchase option was included in his previous loan to FC Nantes.
