Sport FM reported on the dramatic transfer of Sola Soretire from PAOK to Zwolle, describing it as a real thriller. The completion of the registration occurred just 54 seconds before the deadline, as the Dutch team raced against time to secure the loan of the young English midfielder. A significant technical problem on a crucial platform had caused panic in the Zwolle offices. However, despite these challenges, the Dutch team managed to finalize the agreement with PAOK, securing Soretire for the upcoming season. The young player, who had not found a place in Razvan Lucescu's main plan, will now have the chance to compete in the Eredivisie. This opportunity is seen as a chance for him to develop in a more competitive environment, with the aim of returning more prepared and mature.

PAOK announced the loan of 21-year-old English winger Shola Shoretire to the Dutch club Zwolle until the end of the 2025-26 season. The announcement wished Shoretire good luck in the Netherlands. His contract with parent club PAOK is set to expire in June 2028, and his market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.50m.
