Coventry City have signed 19-year-old English left-back Shay Dunn to strengthen their development squad. Dunn arrives from the non-league club Merstham, which plays in the Isthmian League South East Division. Having advanced through the youth system at the Surrey-based side, he featured for their first team and was an important part of their run to the second round of the FA Youth Cup this season. A club statement confirmed that the defender will join the Under 21s, with the hope that he can continue his development and eventually reach the first team.
