Sabri Guendouz, a 26-year-old French-Algerian winger, has agreed to a €1 million transfer to Hearts from the Belgian club Beerschot. Hearts also signed Lawrence Shankland from Beerschot in 2022. According to reports in Belgium, a deal has been finalized between the two clubs. Guendouz will travel to Edinburgh to become the team's sixth summer signing. Beerschot had acquired Guendouz on a free transfer last summer, after which he scored three goals and provided seven assists in the Challenger Pro League. This transfer is Hearts' second significant expenditure of the current window. His contract with Beerschot was set to expire on June 30, 2027. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €500k.
