Ajax has a serious interest in the 24-year-old Spanish attacking midfielder Sergio Arribas and plans to make a significant attempt to sign him in the summer as part of a rebuilding effort. Almería, who paid Real Madrid seven million euros for 50% of the player's rights three summers ago, has consistently communicated that their valuation for Arribas is 20 million euros. This amount would be split, with Almería and Madrid each receiving 10 million euros. This valuation has previously prevented Arribas from moving to a Primera team.
