Sergey Pinyaev Transfer from Lokomotiv Moskva to CSKA Moskva
Valery Filatov, a member of the board of directors at Lokomotiv, commented on the unsuccessful transfer of striker Sergey Pinyayev to CSKA. Filatov expressed doubt about the necessity for Pinyayev to move from Lokomotiv to CSKA, pointing out that both clubs are currently on par in terms of strength, capabilities, and players. He indicated that financial benefits would be the only plausible reason for Pinyayev to contemplate such a move, although he did not have knowledge of the terms proposed by CSKA. Filatov suggested that Pinyayev enjoys favorable conditions at Lokomotiv and should only think about leaving for an international team or a club offering significantly better financial terms.
Commentator Dmitry Guberniev shared his thoughts on Lokomotiv player Sergey Pinyaev's decision to decline a transfer to CSKA. It had been previously reported that CSKA was prepared to pay a release clause of 900 million rubles for the player. Despite CSKA's interest and efforts to acquire him, Lokomotiv succeeded in keeping Pinyaev, underscoring their dedication to not acting as a feeder club and prioritizing the development of Russian talent. CSKA made two attempts to negotiate with Lokomotiv for the promising player, but Lokomotiv's resolute position and strategic leadership, under the guidance of Yuri Nagornykh, ensured Pinyaev remained with the team. Guberniev commended Lokomotiv for their steadfast actions that were in line with their declared objectives, noting the club's achievement in retaining other significant players and their strong rapport with Pinyaev. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at 8.00 million euros.
