The club announced his acquisition, highlighting his experience and quality as a significant addition to their attacking line for the new season. Palacios previously played in Greece for Panathinaikos, where he made 120 appearances, scored 26 goals, and provided 13 assists, winning two Greek Cups. Last season, he was with Talleres in Argentina. He will wear the No. 34 jersey at Levadiakos.

Argentinian winger Sebastián Palacios, aged 33, is anticipated to soon arrive in Greece to finalize his transfer to Levadiakos. He is set to return to Greece after a year, following a previous three-year stint at Panathinaikos. It was reported by Luis Cesar Merlo that Palacios plans to terminate his contract with Talleres, which was initially valid until the summer of 2026, to join Levadiakos for a year. Uriel Lugt mentioned that Palacios is expected to undergo the required medical examinations, and upon successful completion, he will sign a new contract with Levadiakos. The negotiations to end his contract with Talleres were concluded swiftly within a few days, and Palacios is now prepared to travel. Upon joining Levadiakos, he is set to reunite with his former Panathinaikos teammate, Benjamin Verbic. Transfermarkt has indicated that the player's current market value stands at €800k.
