As this has occurred, Kerk will be able to seek a new employer as a free agent this summer. Arka Gdynia intends to try to keep Sebastian Kerk and will offer him a contract for at least two years.

According to Jacek Główczyński from the portal Trojmiasto.pl, Raków Częstochowa is conducting negotiations regarding a transfer for Sebastian Kerk during the Ekstraklasa match with Arka Gdynia. The club needs reinforcements for their offensive line. In the opinion of club officials, the former Hannover 96 player could provide the expected quality. A transfer fee will be required because of an existing contract that is valid until June 30, 2027.
