Santos Torrealba, an 18-year-old Venezuelan attacking midfielder and captain of the U-20 national team, is set to join Vasco on a one-year loan with an option to buy. Having participated in 20 professional matches for Zamora, mainly as a substitute, Torrealba has scored one goal. The negotiations, facilitated by agent Marco Vanzini, gained the approval of Vasco's president Pedrinho and technical director Felipe Loureiro. Torrealba is regarded as one of the prominent talents in Venezuelan football and will initially be integrated into Vasco's U-20 team as part of a transition process.
